Computerized shopping cart keeps lists, shows ads
MediaCart Holdings will bring shopping carts running Windows CE to Shop-Rite supermarkets. Subsidized by targeted advertising, and guided by RFID, the carts guide shoppers in the New Jersey-based chain to the items they want, organize their shopping lists, and expedite check-out, MediaCart says.
